MTEA has endorsed four candidates who have a deep connection to the MPS community and who have displayed a sincere desire to ensure MPS students have the opportunities they deserve. These individuals are champions of our public schools and are committed to keeping public resources in public schools where they belong. We are proud to recommend them to Milwaukee voters.
Socialist slate among newcomers vying for four open seats on Milwaukee School Board
Kelley and Brower are part of the Milwaukee chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), though school board offices are officially non-partisan.
